Exercise Classes for Heart Patients
- are available in one of the three classes run each
week run by Geoff Dorrie at the Memorial Hall. The
classes are confined to those people who have some
form of Heart Disease. Currently the group numbers

Heartstart UK Emergency Life Support Training
Group - is now starting up. This is for
training anyone interested in basic life support (CPR
or "kiss of life"). These training sessions
will be virtually free (donations may be made but
are not compulsory). People who are trained can provide
essential life saving support while professional help
is summoned. We are currently looking for people who
would like to be trained or people who would like
to be trainers themselves.

We meet 50 times a year, always on a Wednesday between
the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. All of our Member/Clients
are Social Services referred, so anyone wishing to
join should either contact their social worker/social
services or the numbers above for advice.
The Day Centre provides a caring environment along
with social activities and outings as well as tea,
coffee and biscuits throughout the day. A substantial
2 course hot meal is also provided for which we charge
a small fee which currently stands at £5.

Mattishall Sports & Social Club
Venue: 47 South Green, Mattishall
We are a Sports & Social Club, set up on the village
outskirts to accomodate the Memorial Hall playing
field where the sports clubs of the village such as
Football, Bowls and Cricket use our facilities. We
also run our own Pool and dart teams throughout the
year. We have live music almost every other Saturday
and also provide a bar in the Memorial Hall when there
is a function in there. This is a members club the
cost being £5 per annum and £1.50 for persons of pensionable
age.
